Palatal Expansion

MARPE (Maxillary Skeletal Expansion)

MARPE stands for Mini-implant Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion. It widens a narrow upper jaw using an expander anchored to the bone with small mini-implants. Because the expander works on the bone rather than just the teeth, it can achieve real skeletal expansion in teens and adults who once would have needed jaw surgery.

Dr. Preet Bhatti uses MARPE for crossbites, crowding, and narrow palates. Expansion also widens the floor of the nose, so many patients find they breathe easier and sleep better after treatment.

MARPE may help with

  • A narrow upper jaw or crossbite
  • Crowding, when teeth have no room to align
  • Mouth breathing and poor nasal airflow
  • Adults who want to avoid jaw surgery

Tethered Oral Tissues

Tongue Tie & Frenectomy

A tongue tie is a band of tissue under the tongue that's too short or too tight, so the tongue can't move the way it should. Babies with a tie often struggle to latch and feed. In kids and adults it can show up as speech trouble, awkward swallowing, mouth breathing, or poor sleep.

We check for tethered oral tissues at any age. When a release makes sense, we do a frenectomy, a quick procedure, and usually pair it with myofunctional exercises so the tongue learns to use its new range of motion.

When to consider an assessment

  • Trouble latching or feeding in babies
  • Speech or swallowing difficulties
  • Mouth breathing or a low resting tongue
  • Tightness or restricted tongue movement

Snoring & Sleep Apnea

DEKA CO2 Laser Therapy

We use our DEKA CO2 laser for non-surgical snoring and sleep apnea therapy. The laser gently tightens the tissue of the soft palate, which helps keep the airway open while you sleep.

Appointments are short, and there's no anesthesia, no appliance to wear, and no downtime afterward. Dr. Preet Bhatti will look at your airway and sleep concerns first, and whether laser therapy is the right fit is always your call.

Why patients choose laser therapy

  • A drug-free alternative for snoring and sleep apnea
  • Short, comfortable appointments
  • Nothing to wear at night
  • No downtime

Straighter, Healthier Smiles

Orthodontics

We offer braces and clear aligners for kids, teens, and adults. Straight teeth are only part of the goal; we also look at how your jaws, tongue, and breathing work together, so you end up with a bite that works and an airway that's open.

Kids can benefit from an orthodontic check as early as age four or five, while their jaws are still growing and easiest to guide. And it's never too late to start; plenty of our orthodontic patients are adults.

Our orthodontic services include

  • Braces and clear aligners
  • Early treatment for growing kids
  • An airway-focused approach
  • Retainers and follow-up after treatment

Comfort & Sedation

Anxiety-Focused Care

Plenty of people put off the dentist because of anxiety. We get it, and we won't judge. We'll explain what we're doing, go at your pace, and stop whenever you need a break. Nothing happens until you're ready, and the decisions are always yours.

If you'd like extra help relaxing, we offer minimal sedation: nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation. Both are mild, closely monitored, and wear off quickly, so you stay comfortable without being put under.

How we help anxious patients

  • Nitrous oxide for quick, light relaxation
  • Oral sedation for longer or tougher visits
  • Breaks whenever you need them
  • You make the decisions about your care

Digital Dentistry

Modern Dental Technology

Good treatment starts with a clear picture. Our CBCT scanner takes a 3D image of your teeth, jaws, sinuses, and airway, showing far more than a regular X-ray. We use it to plan implants, orthodontics, airway treatment, and tricky extractions.

Our digital scanners have replaced traditional impression trays and putty; a quick, comfortable scan gives us an accurate 3D model of your teeth for Invisalign, crowns, and retainers. We'll walk through your images with you on screen, and what happens next is always up to you.

Technology in our clinic

  • CBCT 3D imaging for accurate diagnosis
  • Digital impressions, no trays or putty
  • A DEKA CO2 laser for sleep apnea therapy
  • Treatment planning you can see on screen
