Dr. Preet Bhatti
Dr. Preet Bhatti was born and raised in Maple Ridge. He attended high school at Westview Secondary and graduated from Thomas Haney Senior Secondary. Preet completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the University of British Columbia.
Preet has been practicing dentistry in Pitt Meadows since 2004. Dr. Bhatti was previously a Part Time Clinical Instructor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Bhatti likes to stay active by running, hiking, snowboarding, and playing soccer. He also has an interest in photography and enjoys traveling.

Dr. Austin Chen
Dr. Austin Chen was born in Taiwan and immigrated to Canada at a young age. Raised in Surrey, he obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) as well as his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Degree from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Dr. Chen was the recipient of a number of awards while at UBC Dentistry including the Canadian Dental Association Student Leadership Award, American College of Dentists (BC Section) Outstanding Student Leader Award and Vancouver and District Dental Society President’s Award.
Dr. Chen speaks fluent English and Mandarin. He has served the Coquitlam and Surrey area as a General Dentist before joining our team at Pitt Meadows Dental.
Dr. Chen consistently strives to enhance his skills through participation in a variety of continuing education courses and study clubs. He is also a fan of all things “tech”, and is passionate about staying up to date with the latest dental technological advances! In addition, he is always seeking out great restaurants. He enjoys staying active and is currently learning tennis and golf!

Dr. Ekaterina Sapchuk
Dr. Sapchuk’s dedication to dentistry was honed at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Her exceptional academic achievements, including receiving Honors in restorative dentistry and excelling in a highly competitive Oral Surgery elective, were acknowledged with a place on the esteemed Dean’s List. Her passion spans all facets of dentistry, driven by a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
Her journey into dentistry traces back to high school, where she began as a receptionist and later embraced dentistry wholeheartedly. While pursuing her Biochemistry degree at UBC and continuing into her DMD, she dedicated her weekends to various dental clinics across the Lower Mainland. Hailing from Tyumen, Russia, she made Richmond, BC her home in 2004, bridging cultures effortlessly with her fluency in Russian.
Beyond her professional commitment, Dr. Sapchuk finds solace and joy in diverse interests. She cherishes moments with her mini dachshund, Gio, savors summer days by local lakes, engages in spirited board game sessions with loved ones, and gracefully navigates winter slopes on her snowboard. Dr. Sapchuk’s passion for dentistry is rivaled only by her zest for life outside the clinic, where she balances dedication to her patients with an appreciation for the simple pleasures and thrilling adventures life has to offer.

Dr. Candace Woodman
Dr. Candace Woodman graduated from UBC Dentistry in 2007, and prior to that studied Biology and Animal Physiology at SFU. She spent the first chapter of her career working in Port Coquitlam, and having a part-time position with the Faculty of Dentistry at UBC. In 2019, Dr. Woodman graduated from the Kois Center in Seattle, WA.
Candace grew up in Port Moody, where she currently resides with her husband. When she is not at work, you can find her spending most of her time with family and friends. She enjoys outdoor activity, which includes running and hiking, and stays healthy and moving with her Barre community. In this next chapter, Dr. Woodman looks forward to serving a new community, and leaning into her favourite aspect of dental practice, which is building relationships and helping patients optimize their health.

Dr. Grace Yan
After completing her undergraduate degree in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto, Dr. Grace Yan completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Western Ontario, where she made the Dean’s Honour List.
Dr. Yan has been practicing dentistry in the Lower Mainland since 2013. While striving to provide the highest standard of care to all her patients, she is known for her calm and caring demeanor. She spends many hours in continuing education to continually expand her knowledge and clinical skills. Her main interests are in oral surgery, implant dentistry and restorative dentistry. Dr. Yan is also an Invisalign provider. Dr. Yan is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Outside of work, Grace enjoys the outdoors with her husband, young daughter and their energetic chocolate lab.
